Labá is a member of the National Zero Eviction Campaign. The CDZ is a political articulation created by social movements and organizations fighting for the right to housing, during the Covid-19 pandemic, to denounce human rights violations and guarantee the suspension of evictions and removals during the period. The Campaign was responsible for preventing thousands of families from being removed from their homes during the biggest health crisis of our time. It was also after the Campaign that legal theses won in the higher courts, helping to achieve important political and institutional victories for the recognition of the right to decent housing in the country. CDZ continues to act as one of the most important national articulations in defense of land and housing.
